We’d spend our days exploring the vast, untamed wilderness of the Cape, building sandcastles, chasing crabs, and swimming in the cool, clear waters of the Atlantic. These memories are etched in my mind, vivid and enduring, a testament to the transformative power of nature. The transformative power of nature is not limited to childhood memories.

We set up camp, cook over a campfire, and spend our days hiking, swimming, and fishing. It’s a simple, rustic lifestyle that allows us to reconnect with nature and ourselves. This experience has taught me the value of simplicity and the importance of disconnecting from the constant barrage of information and stimulation that comes with city life. It has also shown me the beauty of slow living, where time is not a commodity to be traded but a gift to be savored. The summer camp experience has been a powerful reminder of the importance of community. We gather around a campfire, share stories, sing songs, and laugh together.

We’ve been camping in state parks, national forests, and even on private land. We’ve been hiking, fishing, kayaking, and exploring the local wildlife.
